Big Tech Mindful and Observant

Post by franklin »

I recently was invited by Apple to upgrade my iMac by downloading the newest version. I did it.
However, in the process I noticed a little field with a long scroll and I was to choose whether to read it and agree to its new terms for agreement.
It was a ridiculous long read, and I skipped some parts, but in the middle of the damn piece I found this.

Submissions Guidelines: You may not use the Services to:

n Post any materials that (i) you do not have permission, right or license to use, or (ii) infringe on the right of any third party.
n Post objectionable, offensive, unlawful, deceptive, inaccurate, or harmful content;
n Post personal, private or confidential information belonging to others;
n Request personal information from a minor;
n Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with another person, or entity;
n Post or transmit spam, including but not limited to unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, or informational announcements;
n Post, modify, or remove a rating or review in exchange for any kind of compensation or incentive;
n Post a dishonest, abusive, harmful, misleading, or bad-faith rating or review that is irrelevant to the content being reviewed.
n Lan(d) or engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or manipulative activity.

So there we have it. Apple is now in the business of monitoring how we think and/or speak. How can I say that? Because while using my Apple computer Apple's A.I. bots are looking over my shoulder.
I've written a lot over the years about censorship, but yet I was surprised to see Apple require that I agree to their brand of censorship before I could use my own Apple computer. Damn!

Comments, anyone?

Avoid them as much as possible! I believe the reason they've gone so "woke" with their advertising is to distract from the fact that they currently capitalize on slave labor (cobalt mines) to crank out their devices which inevitably FAIL after about a decade.

I have several of their computers, however I have replaced the Macintosh operating system with Kali Linux. Not only does this give me complete control over privacy, the damn computer runs faster than ever!

Interesting on how this corporation (that pays very little taxes) stands so high on their soap box, calling everyone a RACIST, meanwhile they make BILLIONS on child slave labor in Africa.

Then in China, where they manufacture the products. the conditions are as equally horrific.

interesting that such a prestigious news org like CNN hasn't updated this story in over a decade...

If anyone would like guidance or remote assistance in wiping an old Apple machine feel free to DM me. Ubuntu is the easiest "flavor" of Linux to start using and relatively easy to install on Apple devices manufactured prior to the Silicon chip.

and for more advanced users, Kali Linux is a great OS bundled with a lot of OSINT tools, the "swiss army knife" of privacy and intelligence tools

Thanks reno;
I would like to talk with you this coming week about my computers.
Saw Rob yesterday, and he took me to see Al. Wish my beard was as white as Al's beard is, LOL!
The three of us had a great visit.
Hope you can come visit soon!
Salute!
